What are bed bugs?
Bed bugs live off blood from humans and animals and are 4 to 5 millimeters in size. Their flat body allows them to fit through the smallest cracks and crevices. They live mainly in the house around your bed and use your blood, among other things, to reproduce. Bed bugs attract people through the CO2 in exhaled air, certain odors and body heat. They are mostly active at night but can also emerge when you nap during the day.

A female bedbug lays an average of ten eggs every day. In her lifetime, she can lay up to 300 to 500 eggs. Bed bugs usually become sexually mature in 8 weeks and are developed into adult bugs in 45 days.
Fight
Bedbugs easily hitch a ride on belongings or people, causing them to spread quickly. When you move from an infested room to another room you quickly take some bedbugs with you. It is therefore advisable to have bedbugs controlled immediately by a professional pest controller.
