Wasps often live with each other in groups in sheltered places. In spring, the queen lays the nest. As summer approaches, more and more wasps live in the nest. A fully grown nest consists of 5,000-7,000 individuals. They live on nectar, honeydew and pollen, among other things, but also on liquid drinks, food or other flying insects.
