OFS will train you to become a pest control technician so you can become the hero who helps people get rid of pests inside homes and commercial buildings. The only thing you need is a drivers license, because we teach you the rest internally. During this work you will come across the coolest places. For example, we have already rid several celebrities of pests.

What do we ask of you?

• You are in possession of a driver’s license B
• You are motivated to learn a new trade
• You enjoy helping and advising customers
• You feel responsible for your work and your colleagues
• You have a good command of the Dutch language
• You can work well independently after our comprehensive training

What does a workday look like?

You start the day at the time you want. For example, you choose to start at 7:30 a.m., so you finish work on time. You first drive by the store to pick up some stuff and arrive at 8:00 at the 1^e customer for an inspection. The customer turns out to be suffering from a mouse nest and so you bring in a new business customer. Furthermore, you have seven exterminations scheduled for today. You already have a digital pest control plan ready for these, so you know exactly what to do when you arrive on location. Today, for example, you have to install bird protection to combat pigeon nuisance and perform a woodworm control in an old house. After the first four abatements, it’s time for your lunch break. After the break, you perform the remaining pest control jobs. You drive your own work bus and have plenty of time left to enjoy the rest of your day.
